Responsibilities

• Act as a support and resource person in the care of patients before or after surgery, during recovery, during acute illness, and during swing bed hospital stays
• Responsible for the assessment, coordination, implementation, delegation, and evaluation of the delivery of safe and effective patient-centered care
• Develop proficiency in caring for individuals on the Medical/Surgical/Pediatric unit relative to the ages of patients served

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Registered nurse currently licensed to practice professional nursing by the Montana State Board of Nursing
• BLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of Med/Surg experience
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
