Registered Nurse - Maternal Newborn

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care to antepartum and postpartum women, newborns, and their families
• Support breastfeeding women
• Cross-train to other areas within the Maternal Child Program as needed

Requirements

• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Breastfeeding certificate
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification
• Venipuncture and I.V. therapy skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position

Preferred Qualifications

• Perinatal Nursing Certificate
