Registered Nurse (LDRP/Obstetrics)

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate primary care to antepartum, laboring, and postpartum mothers and their newborns
• Perform patient assessments, treatment planning, and medical care evaluations
• Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections with support from OB surgical technicians
• Develop and implement individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
• Transcribe and implement provider orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide instruction and education to patients and families regarding health and medical needs
• Document all patient encounters according to organizational standards and HIPAA guidelines

Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana
• Minimum of two years of applicable nursing experience in an OB/LDRP setting
• RQI Provider (BLS) certification required within 7 days of hire
• ACLS and NRP certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• STABLE and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certifications must be obtained within 1 year of hire
• Ability to work a full-time schedule for a minimum of 13 weeks
