Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Responsibilities

• Care for antepartum, laboring, recovery, and postpartum patients
• Provide family-centered care including well newborn and Level 2 Nursery care
• Oversee daily patient flow to optimize safety and satisfaction
• Triage incoming patient requests for services
• Deliver patient education to facilitate care plans and wellness
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures
• Coordinate care with physician practices and other team members
• Advocate for patient safety and preferences using Relationship-Based Care

Requirements

• One year of clinical experience
• Associate Nursing Degree or higher
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
