Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate delivery of patient care
• Accountable for direct patient care and supervision of professional and ancillary personnel
• Plan for educational needs of patients and families to support health maintenance or restoration
• Implement nursing plans and coordinate with medical plans within an interdisciplinary team
• Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives
• Float to other departments as patient needs dictate

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current nursing license in the State of Washington
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• PALS or ENPC certification within 6 months of hire
• TNCC certification within 12 months of hire
• Emergency Severity Index training within 6 months

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years of previous clinical experience in emergency nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
