Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate delivery of care
• Provide direct patient care and supervise professional and ancillary personnel
• Plan for educational needs of patients and families for health maintenance or restoration
• Implement nursing plans and coordinate with medical and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives
• Float to other departments as patient needs dictate

Requirements

• NRP certification within 6 months of hire
• ACLS certification within 12 months of hire
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Intermediate Course or higher within 6 months of hire, or C-EFM certification

Preferred Qualifications

• STABLE certification
• One year of experience in Obstetrics
