Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered clinical care within a Cardiac Rehab ambulatory setting
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to manage patient care and communication
• Implement clinical care pathways and utilize evidence-based nursing interventions
• Educate patients and their families on preventive care, chronic disease management, and medication management
• Perform care coordination, including triage, abnormal result follow-up, and vaccination verification
• Document all patient interactions and clinical care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and nursing governance

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice
• BLS certification
• 1+ years of nursing experience preferred (ambulatory setting preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or completion of BSN or an appropriate advanced degree within 3 years of hire
• Ambulatory care nursing certification
