Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, high-acuity patient care in alignment with ICU protocols and evidence-based standards
• Administer critical medications, monitor complex vital signs, and manage advanced therapies including ventilators, IV infusions, and hemodynamic support
• Collaborate with intensivists, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to assess patient conditions and implement tailored care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Respond rapidly to life-threatening emergencies, performing advanced procedures such as code response, airway management, and resuscitation
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• NCLEX-RN passed or actively preparing
• English language proficiency
• Minimum 24 months of recent acute care experience
• Willingness to relocate to Alaska for at least three years
