Registered Nurse (ICU)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a group of population-specific patients with complex, multi-system issues.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Gather data through history taking and physical assessment to develop and revise patient care plans.
• Administer medications and perform medical interventions based on sound clinical judgment.
• Document care provided and monitor patient progress toward desired outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and discharge preparation.
• Direct and supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed personnel.
• Manage time and resources effectively to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current New Hampshire Board of Nursing Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
