Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for emergency patients
• Carry out physician orders accurately and efficiently
• Identify emergencies and provide necessary interventions
• Perform POC testing as designated
• Manage triage, charge nurse, or discharge nurse duties as assigned
• Communicate appropriately with patients, families, and clinical staff
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
• Document detailed patient notes within the information system

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Texas nursing licensure in good standing
• BLS and ACLS credentials
• Ability to obtain PALS/ENPC and NIH Stroke Scale certification within six months
• Exceptional customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
