Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of emergency patients
• Carrying out physician orders accurately and efficiently
• Identifying emergencies and providing necessary intervention
• Communicating appropriately with patients, families, and co-workers
• Performing POC testing and equipment quality checks
• Managing patient data and maintaining diligent clinical notes
• Addressing patient concerns with tact, courtesy, and poise

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Texas licensure in good standing
• BLS and ACLS credentials
• Ability to obtain PALS/ENPC and NIH Stroke Scale certificate within six months of hire
• Exceptional customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
