Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred, high-quality healthcare services within the onshore Immigration Detention network
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop care plans
• Perform clinical procedures including immunisations, blood collection, and wound management
• Administer medications and monitor patient health outcomes
• Provide health promotion and education to detainees
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and inclusive care

Requirements

• AHPRA Registered Nurse (General unrestricted registration)
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
• Proven experience in hands-on patient care within an operational setting (non-Telehealth)
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
