Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop care plans for individuals in detention
• Deliver a broad range of clinical services including immunisations, blood collection, and wound care
• Administer medications and manage chronic diseases within a community health clinic environment
• Provide health promotion and education to improve overall wellbeing and health outcomes
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred, safe care
• Maintain a respectful and inclusive environment that honours the dignity and rights of all detainees

Requirements

• AHPRA Registered Nurse (General unrestricted registration)
• At least five (5) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
• Proven experience in hands-on patient care within an operational setting (non-Telehealth)
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and ability to prioritise tasks
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
