Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality skilled care to patients with acute needs in the Inpatient Care Unit (IPU)
• Case manage patient needs during shifts, including performing physical, psychological, social, and spiritual assessments
• Oversee and provide supervision for LPNs, CNAs, and other assigned staff
• Create, implement, and update nursing care plans daily
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary group (IDG), team physicians, and psychosocial teams to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Educate patients, families, and the community regarding hospice care philosophy and concepts
• Maintain professional standards of nursing practice and complete all required documentation

Requirements

• Current Florida Registered Nurse license
• Valid Florida driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
• Reliable transportation to perform job responsibilities
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively as a team player in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in an acute care setting
