Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Empower, engage, and train dialysis patients on peritoneal and home hemodialysis using state-of-the-art training programs and equipment
• Act as an onsite Patient Educator and Case Manager, conducting initial home visits and providing ongoing education to patients and families
• Assess and manage patient responses to home dialysis training and treatment therapy following prescribed protocols
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of dialysis data and document findings in patient medical records
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to identify, evaluate, and select home dialysis candidates
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure correct laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures
• Assist in the identification of barriers in a patient's home environment regarding their ability to perform treatments safely

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state nursing licensure
• Current CPR BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience with home dialysis therapy
