Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent home dialysis care, including patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Assess and manage patient responses to home dialysis training and treatment therapy following prescribed protocols
• Educate patients and their families on home dialysis equipment, treatment supplies, and safe operation through formal training programs
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of dialysis data and document findings in medical records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to identify, evaluate, and select home dialysis candidates
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure correct laboratory collection, processing, and shipping
• Identify barriers in the home environment and assess the readiness of home partners to perform treatments

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state nursing licensure
• Current CPR BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in home dialysis therapy (peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis)
• Experience in Nephrology Nursing
