Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent home dialysis care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Manage patient response to home dialysis training and treatment therapy following prescribed protocols
• Assess and document patient and family learning needs to provide ongoing education
• Train Home Dialysis patients and partners on the safe and effective operation of equipment and supplies
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of dialysis data and document findings in medical records
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure correct laboratory collection and processing
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to identify and address barriers to home dialysis readiness

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state nursing licensure
• Current CPR BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience in home dialysis therapy
