Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent home dialysis care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Manage patient response to home dialysis training and treatment therapy following prescribed protocols
• Educate patients and their families on home dialysis equipment, treatment supplies, and safe operation
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of dialysis data and document findings in medical records
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure correct laboratory collection and processing
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to identify and address barriers to home dialysis readiness
• Assist in the identification and selection of Home Dialysis candidates and Home Partners

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current and appropriate state nursing licensure
• Current CPR BLS Certification
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, moving equipment, and assisting with patient ambulation

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in dialysis or nephrology nursing
• Experience with home dialysis therapy (peritoneal or hemodialysis)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
