Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care within the haemodialysis clinical setting
• Participate in the design, planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care
• Protect patient rights by adhering to Privacy Principles and providing high standards of care
• Maintain accurate patient information in medical records and Therapy Data Management Systems
• Promote a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety policies
• Actively participate in quality improvement processes by reporting incidents, hazards, and opportunities for improvement
• Support the management team through clinical, educational, and quality activities

Requirements

• Registration as a general nurse with AHPRA
• Current practising certificate
• Demonstrated clinical competence or expertise in nephrology nursing
• Understanding of quality improvement processes and risk management obligations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform staff and patient education

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced nephrology nursing theory and practice
• Computer literacy
• Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement initiatives
