Registered Nurse - Field Assessor

Responsibilities

• Perform Long Term Care insurance assessments by obtaining claimant demographics and physician information
• Evaluate claimant functional independence and ability to complete ADL and IADL tasks
• Conduct brief cognitive screenings as part of the assessment process
• Maintain accurate, real-time documentation using a point-of-care web application on a laptop or tablet
• Manage a current medication list and evaluate the claimant's overall health status

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
• Ability to function professionally in diverse home environments
• Technologically savvy with the ability to use mobile documentation systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of RN experience
• Proven ability to work independently
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
