Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity, hands-on patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, monitor vital signs, and deliver urgent interventions
• Work closely with emergency physicians and multidisciplinary teams to assess, prioritise, and implement care plans
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately and promptly
• Respond to critical situations with life-saving interventions such as CPR, defibrillation, airway management, and trauma stabilisation
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain strict safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• NCLEX-RN passed or actively preparing
• English language proficiency
• Minimum of 12 months recent acute care experience
• Willingness to relocate to Alaska for at least three years
