About the Company

Ersta diakoni operates nine elderly care homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a secure and enriching everyday life through activities, community, and high-quality meals. Sarahemmet, located in Nacka/Älta, offers 54 tastefully decorated apartments for individuals with dementia and care needs, set in a beautiful garden environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and follow up on care interventions based on individual needs
• Take responsibility for medical quality and ensure safe healthcare
• Supervise and lead nursing staff in daily operations
• Act as care manager for two departments
• Collaborate with doctors and other professionals regarding resident care
• Provide contact and support to relatives
• Contribute to the development of working methods and quality within the organization
• Fulfill specific HSL (Health and Medical Services Act) responsibilities

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse (legitimerad sjuksköterska)
• Proficient in spoken and written Swedish
• Good computer skills
• Experience in elderly care and working with individuals with cognitive impairment is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with dementia and cognitive decline
• Experience in leadership or supervising nursing staff
