Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated medical and clinical nursing care to assigned patients
• Perform nursing services including assessment, care planning, and treatment administration
• Conduct initial intake assessments and discharge reconciliation
• Administer medications, phlebotomy, specimen processing, and point of care testing
• Maintain nasogastric tubes, enteral feeding, and intravenous access
• Perform wound care and document all care in electronic medical records
• Supervise and delegate care to LPNs and Behavioral Health Technicians
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized treatment plans
• Respond to emergency situations

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working with patients in the mental health field
