Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated medical and clinical nursing care to meet patient needs
• Perform nursing services including assessment, care planning, and treatment administration
• Conduct initial intake assessments and discharge reconciliation
• Administer medications and manage intravenous access or enteral feeding
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen processing, and point of care testing
• Document all patient care and observations in the electronic medical record
• Supervise and delegate care to LPNs and Behavioral Health Technicians
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to implement individualized treatment plans
• Respond to emergency situations

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse License in the state of position
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working with patients in the mental health field
