Registered Nurse - Emergency Services

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate delivery of care for emergency patients
• Supervise care provided by professional and ancillary personnel
• Plan and implement patient and family education to support health maintenance and restoration
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement nursing and medical plans
• Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives
• Float to other hospital departments as patient needs dictate

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current Washington State RN license
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• PALS or ENPC certification within 6 months of hire
• TNCC certification within 12 months of hire
• Emergency Severity Index training within 6 months

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years of clinical experience in an appropriate nursing area
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
