Requirements

About the role
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate delivery of care for emergency patients
- Supervise care provided by professional and ancillary personnel
- Plan and implement patient and family education to support health maintenance and restoration
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement nursing and medical plans
- Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives
- Float to other hospital departments as patient needs dictate
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current Washington State RN license
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- PALS or ENPC certification within 6 months of hire
- TNCC certification within 12 months of hire
- Emergency Severity Index training within 6 months
Preferred Qualifications
- One to two years of clinical experience in an appropriate nursing area
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
