Responsibilities
- Oversee daily patient flow to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction
- Triage incoming patient requests for services
- Deliver patient education to facilitate care plans and promote wellness
- Delegate care appropriately according to Colorado statutes
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures
- Coordinate patient care to achieve high levels of satisfaction
- Handle high telephone volume of patient requests
- Utilize Relationship-Based Care to advocate for patient safety and preferences
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
Requirements
- One year of critical care or emergency experience
- Registered Nurse license in Colorado or a valid compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
- Associate Nursing Degree or higher
- Ability to obtain necessary computer skills within 90 days
