Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patient progress within a 24/7 emergency department
• Respond quickly to physiological changes to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Make swift and sophisticated clinical judgements regarding patient needs
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and their families
• Provide essential support and education to patients and their families

Requirements

• Current Nursing registration with AHPRA
• Relevant experience in an acute clinical setting
• Ability to participate in a rotating roster including AM, PM, and Night shifts
• Passion for delivering high-quality, exceptional patient care

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate certificate or diploma in Critical Care nursing
• Postgraduate certificate or diploma in Emergency nursing
• Prior experience working specifically within an Emergency Department (ED)
