Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient plans of care
• Provide high-quality nursing care to all patient populations within the Emergency Department
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice and assume accountability for nursing outcomes
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote a high-quality patient experience

Requirements

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of Illinois
• BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 1 year of current hospital nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNS, TNCC, or ECRN certifications
