Responsibilities

• Provide supports/interventions that focus on maintaining clients at program to address behavioral health needs
• Conduct medical monitoring protocols providing education and consultation to the clients, families and staff
• Administer medications as prescribed by the practitioner
• Monitor clients for therapeutic and adverse effects consulting with medical team as needed
• Accurately complete all medication administration documentation
• Obtain written or verbal physician orders from on-site or on-call practitioner
• Collaborate with prescribing practitioner and community physicians to support coordinated treatment planning
• Participate in daily psychiatric rounds and contribute to treatment plan development

Requirements

• Associates degree in Nursing or equivalent
• 2-4 years of experience with population
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
