About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality oncology and haematology nursing care
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient flow
- Support patients undergoing advanced therapies including ECP, TPE, and stem cell collection
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration
- Experience in Oncology and/or Haematology nursing
- Competency in cytotoxic administration
- Chemotherapy competency (or willingness to obtain)
- Contemporary knowledge of evidence-based cancer care
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in Oncology (or currently working towards it)
- Experience in apheresis and transplant services
