Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Observation Unit
• Gather patient data through history taking and physical assessments to develop care plans
• Administer medications and provide direct patient care in a safe, therapeutic environment
• Document patient care and progress toward desired outcomes accurately
• Lead the healthcare team and serve as a resource person for the assigned shift
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
• Supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed personnel
• Act as a preceptor for new employees to support professional development

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Valid New Hampshire Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year of prior clinical nursing experience
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
