Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with multi-system issues in a safe and therapeutic environment
• Gather data through history taking and physical assessment to develop and revise patient care plans
• Administer medications and provide direct patient care
• Document care provided and patient progress toward desired outcomes
• Lead the healthcare team and serve as a resource person for the assigned shift
• Direct and supervise others in the performance of delegated nursing activities
• Teach patients and significant others about the plan of care and discharge management
• Serve as a preceptor for new employees

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• One year of prior clinical nursing experience
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
