Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with multi-system issues in a PCU Stepdown Unit
• Gather data through history taking and physical assessment to develop and revise patient care plans
• Administer medications and provide direct patient care in a safe and therapeutic environment
• Document care provided and patient progress toward desired outcomes
• Lead the healthcare team and serve as a resource person or preceptor for new employees
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and discharge preparation
• Direct and supervise unlicensed personnel in the performance of delegated nursing activities

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New Hampshire Board of Nursing RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• One year of clinical nursing experience
