Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Initiate and update resident-centered care plans with input from residents and families
• Recognize signs and symptoms and coordinate necessary interventions
• Communicate resident status to nursing staff, physicians, and families
• Prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders
• Ensure accurate documentation via electronic medical record platforms
• Supervise and coach nursing support staff
• Protect resident privacy and confidentiality

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado in good standing
• Ability to work overnight shifts on a PRN basis
• Minimum of 2 shifts per month
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Computer skills including word processing, email, and database management

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in assisted living or skilled nursing
• Experience caring for residents with dementia
• Advanced certifications such as Alzheimer’s/dementia or wound care
• 1 year of supervisory experience
• Experience with electronic medical record platforms
