For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. Through a caring, compassionate philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospital provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Coordinate patient care provided by other disciplines to meet physiological, safety, spiritual, and psychosocial needs
• Adhere to the New York State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and regulatory standards
• Participate in ongoing systematic Quality Assessment and Improvement processes

Requirements

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License/Permit
• Current BLS from AHA (American Heart Association)
• Associate degree

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
