Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Manage the successful operation of the Resident Care Department under the leadership of the Resident Care Director
• Provide direct oversight, coaching, and supervision to all resident care service providers
• Provide on-floor nursing support to residents and interact with family members
• Ensure compliance with all resident care regulations, including medication management
• Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Demonstrate and enforce personal and resident safety methods and procedures
• Conduct internal and external assessments and remain available for on-call duties as needed

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license per state regulations
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Assisted Living, Home Care, or Hospice as an RN
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in a care setting
• Ability to lift 50 pounds individually
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to be on call as identified by the community

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Certification in Gerontology through the American Nurses Credentialing Association
• Knowledge of Dementia care
