Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned supportive work in connection with the delivery of patient care, including functional tasks and skills.
• Provide high-quality, cost-effective psychiatric and addiction treatment.
• Facilitate assigned groups to encourage maximum patient participation and interaction.
• Partner with physicians and other Patient Care Team members to identify and provide for individual patient and family needs.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, standards of care, and corporate compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN License.
• Current BLS License.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN degree.
• Strong knowledge of the principles and practice of psychiatric and addiction treatment.
• Prior experience working with patients with addiction issues.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced, extended team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Behavioral Health or related experience providing care to patients within at least the last five years.
