About the role
Responsibilities
- Provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents
- Obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly
- Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status
- Provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs
- Ensures all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced
- Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment
- Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed
Requirements
- Two years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License
- Current CPR Certification
