Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents
• Obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly
• Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status
• Provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs
• Ensures all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced
• Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed

Requirements

• Two years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing
• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License
• Current CPR Certification
