About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care meeting physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents
- Obtain and transcribe written and telephone orders promptly
- Notify physicians and responsible parties of changes in resident status
- Provide leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations
- Complete new admissions paperwork and nursing assessments
- Prepare and administer medications and treatments
Requirements
- Two years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing experience
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
- Current CPR Certification
