Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care meeting physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents
• Obtain and transcribe written and telephone orders promptly
• Notify physicians and responsible parties of changes in resident status
• Provide leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations
• Complete new admissions paperwork and nursing assessments
• Prepare and administer medications and treatments

Requirements

• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
• Current CPR Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in medical/surgical, rehab, or geriatrics nursing
• Significant medical/surgical clinical experience during schooling
