Responsibilities
- Lead clinical excellence through assessments, planning, and delivery of care
- Supervise and guide other members of the nursing team
- Ensure medical instructions and procedures are correctly administered, documented, and monitored
- Provide proactive and person-centric service to residents and families
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives
Requirements
- NZQA level 7 qualification (e.g. bachelor's degree, graduate certificate, or diploma)
- Current practicing certificate
- Flexibility to pick up different shifts
- Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Palliative Care
- Experience in Dementia care
- Experience with InterRAI
