Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical excellence through assessments, planning, and delivery of care
• Supervise and guide other members of the nursing team
• Ensure medical instructions and procedures are correctly administered, documented, and monitored
• Provide proactive and person-centric service through communication with residents and families
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives

Requirements

• NZQA level 7 qualification (e.g. bachelor's degree, graduate certificate, or diploma)
• Current practicing certificate
• Flexibility to work different shifts
• Team leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Palliative Care
• Experience in Dementia care
• Experience with InterRAI
