About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient-centered care and create a professional environment
- Promote health through patient education and administration of prescribed treatments
- Serve as a primary liaison between providers and patients
- Perform intravenous (IV) therapy, including initiation and monitoring
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including health histories and vital signs
- Accurately document assessments and treatments in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information
- Support daily clinic operations through cross-functional teamwork
Requirements
- Licensed to practice in South Carolina
- Experience with IV administration
- Ability to stand for the duration of the day
- Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs
