Registered Nurse Adult Peds Weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients
• Deliver patient-family centered care within a 20-bed pediatric and adult overflow med/surg unit
• Partner with patients and families to incorporate their goals into the plan of care and develop teaching strategies
• Document all education and learning appropriately within the health record
• Maintain quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader in accordance with Corewell Health policies

Requirements

• Associates in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) must be obtained within 5 years
• Valid Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 90 days)
• For graduates of non-accredited nursing schools: minimum of one year of acute care experience or two years of experience in a licensed health care role, plus successful completion of the NCLEX
