Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments in the patient's home and complete skilled documentation via Homecare Homebase
• Evaluate patient and home health environments, develop care plans, and communicate with physicians and care teams
• Treat wounds and perform infusion therapy
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Serve as a patient advocate and coordinate care with referral sources and caregivers
• Provide direct supervision of nursing clinical care team members including LVNs and HHAs
• Participate in regular case conferences and in-services

Requirements

• Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Three years of clinical nursing experience
• Current Texas driver's license
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Experience with healthcare software, preferably Homecare Homebase
• Competency to carry out skilled procedures within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act
• Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills
• Professional appearance and effective communication skills
