Registered Massage Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation and return-to-work services for injured workers
• Conduct clinical assessments to gauge soft tissue condition, joint function, range of motion, and muscle strength
• Develop and implement specific treatment plans and goals for clients
• Consult with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Provide ongoing evaluation of client progress and collect outcome measurement information
• Educate clients on posture improvement, strengthening, stretching, and relaxation techniques
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and communicate with referral sources and stakeholders

Requirements

• Recognized Massage Therapy Degree or Diploma
• Current registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
• Valid malpractice insurance
• Ability to work as an independent contractor (Fee for Service)

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an interdisciplinary practice
