About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a multi-building children's residential service
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of residential support workers
  • Ensure the safety, welfare, and security of all children and young people
  • Set operational direction to meet the service's statement of purpose
  • Work in partnership with external agencies to support child development
  • Maintain high-quality service provision in line with regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People)
  • Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations (2015) and Quality Standards
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in children's residential homes
  • Minimum 1 year of experience at a Senior level
  • Full UK driving licence
