Responsibilities
- Register with Ofsted and ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation
- Lead and inspire a team of care professionals
- Oversee care plans, risk assessments and behaviour strategies
- Manage recruitment, training and staff development
- Build strong relationships with external agencies and families
- Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and data protection
- Promote a nurturing, structured and empowering environment
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior role within a children’s residential setting
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding and relevant legislation
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for making a difference in young lives
