About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a multi-building registration effectively and efficiently
  • Lead, manage, and operate the service to support children and young people
  • Set operational direction to meet the service's statement of purpose
  • Mentor and support residential support workers
  • Work in partnership with external agencies
  • Ensure high quality of service provision, including care, welfare, safety, and security

Requirements

  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People)
  • Knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations (2015) and quality standards
  • At least 3 years of experience in children’s residential homes
  • At least 1 year of experience at a Senior level
  • Full UK driving licence

Benefits

  • 32 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays), increasing by one day for the first 3 years
  • Ofsted Bonus: £3000 for an ‘Outstanding’ report and £1500 for a ‘Good’ report
  • Company car or travel allowance of £3000 per annum
  • Occupancy bonus: £300 per month
