About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation of a solo occupancy home, creating safe, nurturing environments for children with complex needs
- Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated care team committed to delivering exceptional outcomes
- Ensure home meets and exceeds regulatory standards, including Ofsted expectations
- Collaborate with external professionals to support each child’s individual journey
- Embed therapeutic practices and a culture of stability, safety, and high standards
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months’ experience managing a children’s home
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- In-depth knowledge of SCCIF, Children’s Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport
- Resilient, trauma-informed approach
